Tiffany & Co. vintage Raccoon 18ky gold and platinum diamond pin

For all you raccoon lovers out there, this is an exquisite vintage estate 18 karat yellow gold, platinum and diamond signed raccoon pin by Tiffany & Co.  The motif of the pin is of a raccoon on a platinum tree branch.  There are 17 bead set round brilliant cut diamonds in and surrounding the eyes as well as 10 additional in the rings on the tail, for a total of 27 VS quality diamonds with an estimated total weight of .31 carats. The raccoon has black enameled rings around the tail between the diamonds and for the mask surrounding the diamond eyes.  The body has a very detailed textured finish to represent the fur. The pin is secured with a hinge and pin assembly.  It weighs 7.2 grams and is in excellent condition.  This is a very beautiful, high quality piece!
