Defective mark down. This 14 karat yellow gold solid 3 mm rope chain has a few stiff spots where the chain manufacturer linked the chain spans together, so we have reduced the price on it. The 30" chain is secured with a yellow gold barrel clasp with figure 8 safety. Although it is being sold "AS IS", the stiff spots are barely noticeable and it is still a beautiful chain.  A great buy!
