Art Deco Aquamarine, diamond and pearl 18kw pendant

A gorgeous vintage Art Deco 18 karat white gold convertible pin/pendant. The pendant contains a single pear shape natural aquamarine weighing approximately 11.21 carats. It displays good intensity with fair saturation in a light blue hue with slight yellowish overtones. It is set with end cap and two prongs. Surrounding the aquamarine is a pear-shape single piece of onyx set as a shadow box around the aqua. It is secured atop a single gallery with diamond side caps. Each of the caps has 3 small (approx. 1.3 mm) round brilliant cut VS clarity diamonds that are bright cut into the caps. Immediately bordering the caps on the onyx are 14 Akoya cultured pearls that measure an average  2.6 mm in diameter. They display a creamy rose' hue with light blemish. They are well matched, are 1/2 drilled and glue set on posts, six per side plus one at the top and bottom.  The surrounding round brilliant cut SI quality diamonds number 133 for an estimated total weight of 1.50 carats and are pave set into the white gold mounting, with a floral spray design at the bottom and a geometric design crown on top, which includes a small triangular cabochon cut onyx set above the top pearl. The pendant also has a finding to allow it to be worn as a pin. It weighs 18.4 grams.
