Dating from around the early 1900's this Edwardian platinum ring is set with a .35 carat (estimated) round natural ruby and framed with seven sparkling, colorless, VS average quality, old mine cut diamonds. The diamond weight is estimated at .06 carats per stone for a total diamond weight of .42 carats (estimated). A marquise and heart shaped filigree pattern runs along the ring shoulders and around the lower gallery below the diamonds. Hand engraving runs along the bottom of the shank. The center ruby has moderate abrasions from wear. The ring is currently a finger size 7. A timeless beauty!
