Lapis and Cloisonné glass fused enamel 14kg gold ring

For lapis lovers, a fine example of the cobalt blue stone. The large flat oval stone is mounted in a very cool vintage Art Deco 14 karat yellow gold ring mounting and boasts a fused glass enamel border in blue and white with additional blue and white enamel on the shoulders much like epaulettes, giving a slightly Egyptian look.  The lapis measures 18 mm in length X 14 mm in width X 3 mm in depth (.71" X .55" X .12") with very good evenness of color and minor flecks of calcite. The stone is bezel set and the inside is green gold.  The ring is size 6.75 and has a stipple finish around the outer sides. Very striking!
