Sugilite with diamonds 14ky pendant

This estate pendant for the purple aficionado offers a soft contrast to amethyst.  It holds an oval approximately 2 carat sugilite that is opaque and mottled with some white as well as black secondary colors including streaks across the bottom part of the stone. The 14 karat yellow gold pendant has three diamonds at the bottom that are SI quality, have a total weight of .08 carats and are set in white gold 4 prong heads that also act as prongs to hold this relatively rare stone.
