This round Tsavorite , which is a fine species of green garnet weighs .25 carats, measures 4.2 mm in diameter and displays a vibrant green color to offer an alternative to emerald. It is set in a raised head on a narrow 14 karat yellow gold solitaire ring highlighted by 9 small SI quality, round brilliant cut diamonds on each side of the shank coming up to meet the tsavorite at the base of the gallery. The 18 diamonds total .14 carats and all the stones are prong set. The shank measures 1.8 mm at the top, widening to 2.1 mm on the bottom and the ring is size 7.
