A phenomenal, cats eye, chrysoberyl is showcased in this tapered ring. The cabochon stone cutting, combined with the chrysoberyls parallel inclusions create a vertical line (chatoyancy) that moves mystically with the light source, similar to a cat's eye. The chrysoberyl weighs an estimated 1.25 carats with a golden whitish eye against a honey color background. The gemstone is gypsy set in an elegant 18 karat satin finished yellow gold tapered ring, and is framed on each side by two bright cut round brilliant, SI clarity, natural diamonds totaling .08 carats (.04 ct. each). The ring is currently a size 8.75.
